About People Getting Old

It has rained here off and on all day. A very drab, drearry day. The only thing I left the office for today was to pick Justin up for lunch and he kept the car after because I had no intention of getting out in the wet.

Justin was late picking me up from work. Then he poked his head around the corner to my office rather sheepishly. He'd been shopping and hadn't found me anything for my birthday. That's really ok, since we go buy what we want and there's never anything I can buy for his birthday either. When we drive up at the house, both girls come running out screaming "Happy Birthday Mommy!". I act shocked and tell them that today is not my birthday but they inform me that since we have ballet class tomorrow we ARE celebrating it today. I don't think I've ever seen them more excited. I come in the house and they tell me my birthday is in Beka's room. I head that way and they tell me that I can't go in there, I have to go in the computer room. So I sit down and they bring me a cake and presents. Some how, the icing got licked off one side and Pop, our cat, got blamed for it but then Beka said she did it, no she didn't did it, yes she did did it....so we are pretty sure she did. The cake IS chocolate after all. So I get to pick where to eat tomorrow after dance class.....it will be Johnny Carino's.

I already have the picture and theme for my September 2007 layout. September's theme is to tell something about me. The picture will be the one that I will include today and I will call it something like "Its all about me at 47 because they make me who I am". They are what makes my world go round. I get to pick where to eat tomorrow after dance class....it will be Johnny Carino's. They love it and AJ thinks they are the only place that makes Caesar Salad!

I may be getting old but I am enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would! I'll post again soon!
